HEMEL BLINDS & SHUTTERS

Hemel Blinds was established in 2011 when working solely as a self employed advisor for Hillarys Blinds based in Nottingham.

Towards the end of 2014 it was decided to set up our own made to measure business using independent trade suppliers for our Blinds, Curtains, and Plantation Shutters.

Hemelblinds.co.uk first opened for business in January 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, during December 2015 we became a limited company.

The first year has been a massive learning curve. We tried out many different suppliers and have finally settled on the suppliers that will give us the quality and service we insist upon so that we can provide a first class service for our customers.

When we first started the business the majority of our customers came through advertising via social media, magazine adverts and our market stall. Whilst we still use these forms to find new customers, we have seen a massive increase in recommendations from previous customers which is fantastic for our business.
